This is Japanese-style confectionery stuffed with sweet bean paste on a thinly baked rice cake. It has the shape of hard-shell clam that can be harvested on the local Kujukuri coast. There are three colors. Each one is different in bean paste. There are azuki bean paste, whole sweet azuki beans and white bean paste with aonori(dried green lavers). This is perfect as a souvenir local sweets.

This was recognized as Chosei County’s sweet of choice.
