ぼたもち

This Japanese sweet is called "Botamochi" in spring and "Ohagi" in autumn. There is a custom of eating at the traditional Japanese event called OHIGAN(equinoctial week).
A traditional Japanese confectionery made by wrapping mochi in red bean paste. It is believed that the color of red beans cleanses the body and makes it sacred. The characteristic of the mochi inside is that it is not completely pounded. We use glutinous rice from Niigata prefecture, which is famous for rice.

We mainly sell for 4 days from the first day of OHIGAN.
We also accept orders for "MITSUME NO BOTAMOCHI" as a custom after childbirth.
